“ Quite an an eye-opener. Amazing results within such a short span of time.
Useful to motivate Janelle and convince her that it can be done.
Janelle liked the alphabet exercise best of all. I liked the information provided and the eye chart exercises. I would recommend the workshop. Useful knowledge for the whole family.

This is a comment one mother made after the first Magic eyes workshop in Singapore. Most Singaporeans believe poor eyesight is either inherited or inevitable. 80 % of the population is near sighted, so it is understandable that the common perception is that glasses or surgery is just a matter of time.
Papers are full of ads extolling the befits of laser surgery or lens implants. Everyone knows that any surgery involve a certain amount of risk. In fact surgery on ones eyes is probably the last place you want any cutting done. In any case laser surgery or lens implants are not options for children.
OK-lenses are hard contact lenses that are worn over night is offered as an alternative for children. However, a lot of facts are left out. OK-lenses do not prevent near sight from developing. Research shows, when you stop wearing the lenses your near sight comes right back. It is referred to as “myopic rebound.”
There are serious risks associated with wearing these lenses. Infections often occur, especially in children, because the lens sticks to the eye and must be pried out with a finger every morning. A few years ago 16 children in Hong Kong developed permanent damage after wearing these lenses. A risk most parents would not take if they knew about this. Especially, since the OK-lenses do not prevent childhood myopia.
Can you exercise your eyesight?
Leo Angart restored his own eyesight from -550 to perfect eyesight in 3 months. He did this 19 years ago after wearing glasses for 26 years. Everyone knows that practising your gold swing or tennis serve will improve your game. Also if yiu want to be on any sports team you must train.
Since the focusing system of your eyes is operated by muscles, there is no reason why you can't exercise your eye muscles. It turns out that children respond very quickly to vision training. Mild myopia, less than -200, can be restored to perfect after just a few days of exercise.
Leo Angart has conducted Magic eyes classes with children in Hong Kong and Taiwan more than 10 years. Every year there are several hundred children restoring their natural eyesight in cities across Taiwan and Hong Kong. Now children in Singapore can also get their Magic eyes back.
Magic eyes classes are for children between 8 and 12 years. A parent need accompany the child. The two of you will learn simple exercises that will help your child to regain his or her natural eyesight. The training has nothing to do with optometry or ophthalmology. The objective is to address the underlaying causes of myopia and develop better visual habits.
Magic eyes vision training for children is a proven method. As far back as 1985 the American Optometric Association published a study of the efficacy of vision training or vision therapy. This paper is supported by no less than 238 published studies.
Leo Angart's method is aimed at restoring natural eyesight in children without any surgery, drugs or expensive therapy sessions. Its simple, its fun and it works.
