Thank you Australia Sometimes things just work out amazingly well. This happened in Sydney last year in May when Channel 7 the "TODAY-TONIGHT" show came to my workshop and made an excellent report which they called "Eye-Chi." It was broadcast end of May last year and most of you saw it or heard about it, and as a result you came to the workshop. Getting new glasses without hazzle If you have ever tried to get lenses less than your measurement you will know how acrimonious this can be. Most high street optometrists are opposed to doing this. This is especially in countries like Australia where a prescription is required. The attitude is that you should just get used to the glasses perscribed. Vision training is all about reducing your perscription and ultimately getting rid of them. Dry eyes and their treatment Dry eyes feel gritty as if there's something in your eyes. The common treatment is to administer artificial tears. Queensland story The need for reading glasses is something that affects a lot of people. The medical term for this is presbyopia. It shows up around your mid 40's and is considered by eye care professionals to be inevitable for almost everyone to end up with glasses. Fortunately eyesight is trainable. In Australia many people often wear very strong plus lenses for reading, very strong means more than + 2 diopters.
